Hitting the Pavement to Help Find Cures
Welcome to my Team In Training home page! It's hard to believe that over a year ago I started training for my firts marathon with Team In Training. It was a life changing experience not only for me but the all of my team members. Not only did I challenge myself and meet my goal head on, I was able to (with your help) raise $2000.00 to help the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society continue it mission of providing funding for research and support of people dealing with these life threatening illnesses. Please join me again as I make my body find and push it's limits in an effort to help others.
I am training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I'm completing this marathon in honor of Jake a 10 year A-L-L survivor and many of the countless others who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
