GLOVER TO RUN DUBLIN MARATHON
Taking Steps to Save Lives!
I thank you in advance for taking time to visit my Team in Training (TNT) home page. Like me, you’re taking the first steps to fight cancer. Thanks for joining my team, my effort.
Far too many of my friends and family have been battling life-threatening cancer. When I hear the news about their illness I feel compelled to do something for them and to try and help rid the world of this horrible disease. My way of contributing is to dedicate my marathon efforts to my friends that are in the throws of chemo and radiation, to help elevate their spirit and to let them know they are not alone.
I am training to participate in the Dublin Marathon on October 31, 2005 as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's TNT. By joining TNT I am able to run my marathon for my honoree Tim Nelson, who is fighting colon cancer, and to also raise money for cancer research. Honorees like Tim are the real heroes on our team, motivating me and my fellow TNT teammates to get involved, to do something, especially if we are graced with good health ourselves, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
So I am asking you to please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance the Society's mission: to stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I'll train and run the race if you make the contribution, and we'll all be at the finish line together!
I hope you'll visit my web site often. Be sure to check back frequently to see my progress. Thanks again for your support.
