Racing to Make a Difference
Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
I am training to participate in the Marine Corps Marathon as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. As many of you are aware this is a cause that is very near and dear to my heart as my mother has just entered remission from Lymphoma. I'm completing this event in honor of her and all individuals who are affected daily by lymphoma. These people are the real heroes who make this a cause worth working for. This run is about more than making it the full 26.2 miles (Oh my God I get chills just thinking about it), it is about taking a small step and making a commitment and sacrifice in honor of the many men and women who live with this disease and work to erradicate it everyday. I would so appreciate your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
