Danielle Franco's Team In Training Page
Racing to Save Lives
Welcome to my Team In Training home page and thank you so much for taking the first step in donating to such a worthy effort. As some of you know, last year I walked 60 miles in Boston to raise funds for research into the cure for breast cancer. This year I have chosen to run 26.2 miles right here in DC in the Marine Corps Marathon to raise funds for research into the cure for leukemia, lymphoma and other blood-related cancers. I am training to participate in this endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training and I'm completing this endurance event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure! So I turn to you for help. Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance the Society's mission. I hope you'll visit my web site often. Be sure to check back frequently to see my progress. Hopefully, with your help, I can reach my fundraising goal before I run the marathon on October 29, 2006. Thanks for your support!
