100 Miles Behind us -kicking cancer's butt!

Welcome to my Team In Training home page.

On November 17, 2007 at 7:00A me and 11,000 other riders set our minds to a 109 mile course around the city of Tucson, AZ. Most of us made at least 100 miles! Others traversed the final 9 to complete the course; while others did not quite make the 100 mile mark. I am happy to say I made it to 100 miles. It was an awesome experience, and I can now check this off my list of things to do!

My ability to complete the ride is attributable to many factors: great coaches, wonderful captains, awesome teammates, a magnificent honored teammate, and last but not least my family, friends and supporters - whether you gave financially, or through your prayers, or just your encouragement! This truly was a team effort! I am honored to have served with such an awesome group of people! And a big applause to my awesome sister Gina who came to Tucson to give me moral support and ended up completing the entire course in the process! Gina, you ROCK sister!
