Eva and the Triathlon

no better time than now

Chugiak High School choir trip to Anaheim, CA (2002).

In the summer of 2003, after my first year at college, I learned that a good friend from high school had been diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma that spring. (In the picture, Tony is to my left - your right.)

Despite Tony's courage and determination, he passed away in November, 2005.

I'm currently training for the Lifetime Fitness Triathlon in July 2008 as a member of Team in Training for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

I'm participating in Tony's memory, to honor those currently fighting blood cancers and in hope that a cure will be found.

Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance the Society's mission of finding a cure for blood cancers.
