Racing to Save Lives
Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
I am training for the ‘Mayor’s Midnight Marathon’ in Anchorage, AK on June 23, 2007! Almost one hundred other folks and I in the Kansas City area are running or biking or doing a triathlon for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society with an organization called ‘Team in Training.’ Until our training days are over and we complete our races, we all will be fundraising to help stop diseases like leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s and non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas, myeloma and other blood related cancers that is taking lives from several thousands of people each year.
In addition to the cause, I am running this event for a very special person, Eddie Rosenthal. He started his battle of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 1999 and underwent an experimental treatment that took. He’s been in remission for several years and still as strong as ever. I am running this race is for him. This race is for him and all the others that are fighting their battles or have fought the glorious fight. This race is for those that died trying.
So please, help me raise money to help fight for a cure!
