The Great Gettin' Up Morning Show is pounding the pavement to cure cancer
Some of you know me as the host of The Great Gettin' Up Morning Show on KCWJ 1030 the Light. Some of you are former classmates, teamates, or church family. No matter who we are we are all here for the same purpose. To stomp out cancer!
I am training to participate in the San Diego Rock 'n' Roll Marathon as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I'm completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. But I am also running specifically for our honored patient, Micia Amos. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
