Racing To Save Lives

Welcome to my Team In Training home page.

I am training to participate in The Detroit Half Marathon on October 21, 2007 as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. Running a marathon has been a life goal of mine and I think this is a great way to raise money for an organization that is very close to my heart. I am running in honor of my older sister, Jennifer Knapper Baker. She lost her battle with Leukemia on August 10, 2006. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance the Society's mission.

I did it! The run went well and we had beautiful weather!! There were 160 Team in Training participants and we raised over $300,000! Thank you for all your support!
