Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
As a plastic surgeon I have always felt that body enhancement surgery cannot be complete without good health and nutrition. While I have always exercised, I began participating in triathlons 2 years ago. I have seen the Team In Training crew at each of the events that I have participated in. As a physician I am all too familiar with the effects of cancers of the blood and so I have decided to join Team In Training so that I can help to cure this cancer.
The training for this event will be difficult, but it pales in comparison to the hardship of each and every patient that suffers from these devastating diseases. I will be completing the Avia Wildflower Half Ironman Triathlon on May 3, 2008, in Monterey, California in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line – a cure!
