Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
I am training to participate in the Walt Disney World Triathlon (swim 1 mile, bike 26 miles and run 6.2 miles) on September 24, 2006 as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I'm completing this triathlon in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers, but especially my old swim coach, Petri, who passed away from leakemia while I was under his care. It was a terrible time for me, and those around me.
I must raise $3900 in order to complete this event. Over 75% of the donations goes back to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, while the rest will pay for my event, accomodations, etc. Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance the Society's mission.
