Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
I am training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I'm completing this event in honor Amy Charlotte Freeburg who fought leukemia, but lost her battle on August 9, 2006. Amy was a wonderful woman and I cherish the time I spent with her. She had a warm wit and she and my wife were the best of friends. Her life was just starting but she never got the chance to finish her beginnings as a teacher, a wife, or mother. But the war still goes on and Amy would have wanted us to persevere. The people who continue the fight are the heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
