nancy patteson's Team In Training Page
Inspired by Leah Ryan - and now, my brother, Bugs...aka Brad Campbell
I DID IT! I completed the Seacoast Half-Marathon! The rain held off, the weather was warm and the course was beautiful. I finished in 2 hours and 35 minutes. Team In Training raised over $104,000.00 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Thanks to all of your generous donations I raised over $2000.00! THANK YOU!
For those of you who are new to my website, welcome to my Team In Training home page.
I ran in the Seacoast Half Marathon on November 12, 2006 as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma. I trained for this half marathon as a colon cancer survivor and because I was inspired by the humor and strength of Leah Ryan. In a cruel twist of fate, the day before the race, my brother called to say that he had just been diagnosed with lymphoma. Needless to say, he provided me with all the motivation I would need to finish the race.
I continue to be committed to raising money to help make a difference for people and families living with cancer. I will continue this website as long as I can to give you easy access for making donations directly to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
I encourage you to visit this web site often and to tell your friends that money is always needed for cancer research. Let's prove that there is life after a cancer diagnosis. Thank you.
