Racing to Save Lives
As many of you know I participated in the Seacoast Half Marathon in November 2007 as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team in Training. I had a great experience in Portsmouth so now I am back at it again! This time I am training to participate in The Mayor's Midnight Half Marathon in Anchorage, AK on June 21st. I am also participating with the team as a Team Mentor.
And drum roll....I'm now also a memeber of the Fall team and will be mentoring and participating in the Peak Performance Maine Marathon. I'm hoping to be able to do the full but I am going to have to wait and see how Alaska goes to make the final call. You will see a new website soon for that race!

All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I'm completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
