Andreas Kronfeld's Team In Training Page
Riding the silver and red Motobecane in Dad's Memory
Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
I am training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. More information on this program is below, but first a personal message.
My father, David Kronfeld, died last year after a decade-long struggle with lymphocytic leukemia. It is in his memory that I am entering this event.
There is a second reason to choose this route for raising funds for research into blood diseases. While he was alive—even after he got sick—my Dad was an avid bike rider. In fact, I will be riding the silver and red Motobecane racer that he bought himself around 30 years ago, and gave to me about 25 years ago. I think he would be pleased to see the bike, powered by his son, raising money for research, especially research into leukemia.
All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. Our participation in this event honors all those battling blood cancers. They are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance the Society's mission.
I hope you'll visit my web site often. Be sure to check back frequently to see my progress. Thanks for your support!
