The Nike Women’s Marathon in San Francisco was on October 21, 2007, and I completed it along with over 5,300 other Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training members from across the U.S.! Team In Training members raised over $18.5 million for leukemia research in this race alone, and you helped me raise nearly $5,000 for the cause!

Since its founding, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, has contributed more than $700 million dollars to research. The good news is that the research is working. 25 years ago only 5% of children diagnosed with leukemia survived. Today, thanks to funding by people involved in projects like Team In Training, 80% of children with leukemia will live.
