Racing to Save Lives
Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
I am training to participate in the City of Trees Marathon in Boise, ID as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.
I am running in the memory of a dear friend - Hari Muthuswamy, whose year long battle with Leukemia ended tragically in December 2006. He is survived by his wife and two year old. Currently there are ~800,000 people living and battling some form of blood cancer just in the United States. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure! The local chapter of LLS is honoring Nick Betz, McKynna Luper, and Jill Korn whose battle continues.
