Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
June 11 Update - On June 6, my uncle Greg passed, ending his fights and pain. I carried his name on my jersey and he will forever be carried in the memories and hearts of those that new him. Unfortunately, his passing only serves as a reminder that we must work tirelessly for a cure. Please help and support the Team in Training so that together, we can conquer this horrible disease!
June 4 Update - I finished! With everyone's support, near and far, I finished the 26.2 miles in 3 hours and 53 minutes. The marathon race has ended but the race for a cure continues far beyond a start/finish line in San Diego. Overall, this race alone netted over $12 million dollars - I hope you will continue to support me and the Team in finding a cure. Thank you for all that you have done.
I am training to participate in a marathon (yeah, 26.2 miles!) as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I'm doing this in honor of all the families and individuals who are battling cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
