Veronica's Team In Training Page

Hi. I'm Veronica, and I am training for the Nike Women's Marathon in San Francisco on October 22, 2006. I am running this race as a member of Team In Training, a division of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).

LLS is the world's largest organization dedicated to eradicating blood cancers. Research sponsored by LLS had led to effective treatments of Hodgkin's disease, lymphoma, and other common cancers, including breast and lung cancer.

In exchange for coached workouts and support in the months leading up to the marathon, I have agreed to raise money for LLS. I hope you can join me in this effort. MY GOAL IS TO RAISE $3000. Your tax-deductible donation will be used to support research and patient services. You will be helping cancer patients and their families.
