Racing to Save Lives

What is wrong with this guy?

Thank you for visiting my TNT home page! This journey is reaching its climax. We are entering the "race" phase of our training, which means play time is over. I couldn't make it each week without the encouragement from family and friends. Plus, I have the privilege of witnessing my teammates transformations into ironmen and women. It keeps the crankiness and complaining to a minimum. Thank you again and again for all the love and support for myself and the cause.

I am training to participate in IRONMAN Canada as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's IRONTEAM. Thats a 2.4 mile swim in open water followed by a 112 mile bike ride and ending with a full 26 mile marathon, all in one day. All of us on the IRONTEAM are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I'm completing this Ironman in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure! The sacrifice of training and racing pales in comparison to the pain and ordeal patients and their loved ones go through during chemotherapy and other treatments.
