Racing to Save Lives
Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
Shortly before getting married, I decided to run my next milestone-- a FULL MARATHON! Now that life has resumed to relatively normal, I am starting my fundraising effort! By participating in the Team in Training program, I have committed to raising over $2500 for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I'm completing this training and subsequent marathon in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers, especially my personal Honoree, Al DeLuca who has been a family friend for as long as I can remember. He recently was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma for the second time. Al, and others like him are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
