Kevin Weaver's Team In Training Page
Racing to Save Lives
Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
I am training for my second half marathon with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. I am participating in the PF Chang's Rock N' Roll Marathon in Phoenix, Arizona on January 15, 2006, just 3 days before my 32nd birthday!
I am training with a great group of people who are training for three different events: San Francisco Nike Marathon, Honolulu, Hawaii Marathon, and PF Chang's Rock N' Roll Marathon Phoenix, Arizona.
All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am a 29 year survivor of ALL Leukemia and also have a repaired heart murmur. I'm completing this marathon in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers.
My personal honorees are Chris, Jessica, Jason, Nancy, Rudy M, Ann Basilone, Uncle Izzy Grasso, Juli K, Tiffany G, Kim B, Anna S, Rob M, Louie B, Will L, Remo, Sue W, Dottie M, Kathleen G, Kathleen K, Chris T, Joe W, Joshua S, my friends from Camp Mak-A-Dream, and Camp Okizu, my beloved family members that have past away from cancers: my Mother Patricia, Aunt Abby, Grandma Lillie, Aunt Trisha. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance the Society's mission.
I can't do this without your help! PLEASE HELP ME, HELP OTHERS!
I hope you'll visit my web site often. Be sure to check back frequently to see my progress. Thanks for your support!
