Still Going Long for A Cure

Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go. -T.S. Elliot [...all 140.6 miles!]" Just over one month left in this adventure called Ironman training! This experience has really been a journey; of endurance, of courage and personal discovery! 52 hours of swimming, 110 hours of biking and 85 hours of running so far. None of this would have been possible without the love, support and encouragement of my husband, the patience and love of my kids, and the assistance, cheerleading and support of my family and friends. I have been truly blessed and marvel at this amazing journey! There are two more big weeks of training with some challenging events still to come....and then at long last August kicks off TAPER! For those of you who have donated to this cause, I am profoundly grateful! Those of you who have expressed an interest to donate, there is still time. I appreciate all of the warm wishes, support and prayers. Your energy has been with me and will certainly pull me thru when the road gets long!
