Ironman Canada 2006

Here is our official Ironteam race jeresy! Would you believe it is a size large?????

On August 27, 2006 at 7:00am, I will embark on what I am sure will be a life altering experience. I will swim 2.4 miles, bike 112 miles, and run 26.2 miles in Penticton, British Columbia knowing that I will have raised over $7,500 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and hoping that I have the arms, legs, head, and heart to carry me to the finish line in under 17 hours. It has been on my horizon for the past two years and one sunny day in Maine last August, I finally signed, sealed, and mailed the paperwork for Ironman Canada – what will be the most ambitious athletic and fundraising endeavor of my life. Along with 67 Bay Area Team in Training Ironteam participants, I will swim, bike, run, and strength train for the next ten months and, with your help, raise over $7,500 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
