Hey Everyone! Thank you so much for visiting my fundraising website.
As some of you already know - the triathlon bug has bit me again. I'm training again.. only this is the big one...
The IRONMAN
This triathlon consists of training for 9+ months to compete in a race that starts with a 2.4 mile swim, followed by a 112 mile bike and finishes off nicely with a marathon -26.2 mile run.
I know it's a bit aggressive,but so is cancer....say no more.
Training with Team in Training has been awesome in the previous years and it's even better this year. With your help, I will raise $8500 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Our San Francisco team - which consists of about 65 awesome teammates - has the potential to raise almost 1 million dollars to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.
I'm completing this triathlon in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
