Hey all!
Thanks for checking my Team in Training page - so far I have run a 12K and I'm on my way to actually running a marathon.
I am training as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. I'd like you to support me as I run to raise money to CURE Leukemia.
Did you know:
* Just one round of Chemotherapy costs over $150,000.
* Many patients require several rounds of chemotherapy to achieve success.
* A bone marrow transplant costs $250,000 or more.
* In many cases, patients require additional treatment afterwards.
* Anyone can get leukemia. Leukemia affects all ages and sexes. The cause of leukemia is not known.
I'm running and raising money to improve the quality of life of patients and their families and cure this deadly disease.
