Welcome to our Team In Training home page.
We are training to participate in an endurance event as members of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. We are completing this event in honor of all the individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
We are doing the AMERICA's MOST BEAUTIFUL RIDE!
The idea to participate in this event started after Bryan heard a radio ad on KKIQ 101.7fm. Remembering all the years of hearing about Team In Training throughout the years, Bryan and Rosanna finally decided to join. We have spent nearly 2 years cycling together and figured this would be a great opportunity to meet new people in the East Bay as well as participate in a useful cause.
After reviewing the TNT website, we decided the best way to get in on the action was to visit the Sports Basement in Walnut Creek, and attend one of the information meetings. We heard a father's story about his daughter's fight with one of these blood cancers. When he concluded his story we knew that we wanted to participate and contribute to the cause.
We are currently training to do our part. Now we need your help. If 100 people donate $100, 200 people donate $50, 400 people donate $25, or 1000 donate $10, then we will meet our goal. We understand that not everybody can afford the $100 at this time, but those of you who can afford more will not be turned away. At the same time, any amount that you can contribute will be greatly appreciated.
