Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
I am training to participate in Ironman Canada in August, 2006, as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I'm completing this Ironman in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure! I am dedicating the next 10 months of 6 days a week training to prepare myself to finish a 2.4 mile open water swim, a 112 mile bike ride and a 26.2 mile run (a marathon!), all in under 17 hours! Thank you to those who donated last year for the San Francisco AIDS Foundation. Together we raised over $2000 dollars to fight AIDS. This year we are going for $7500 dollars! If you find yourself near "Olive" this year, you can also contribute by buying the Ironman Martini. All sales will go directly to the cause. Be on the look out for future fundraising extravaganzas at "Olive", where you can also drink for the cause.
