Welcome to my Team In Training home page for Winter 2008.

This is my seventh season with Team in Training. Susan and I are the Head Coaches for the San Francisco Bayside and Diablo Valley Marathon Teams. This season we have four events lined up and I'm setting my sights on Rome, Italy.

This season is dedicated to the growing number of suvrivors of leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma and in memory of those who've lost the battle. I plan to update this site with the stories of the honored patients I meet during this season.

One down, three to go:

The Half Marathon at Rock N Roll Phoenix was our first event this year. The SF Teams sent two dozen participants and coaches. TNT overall has 1,200 participants and raised $3.5 million for this race alone.

The storms and winds in January didn't stop us from finishing on an emotional high at the Kaiser San Francisco Half Marathon. So far this year, our small winter group of runners and walkers have raised close to $100,000. (Our manager, Lindsay; Mentor Tim, participants Lisa and Joyce).

We weren't able to attend the California International Marathon in Los Angeles, but our walkers finished strong. The team is up to $115,000 with only Rome left.
