Racing to Save Lives

Welcome to my Team In Training home page for the Spring 2008 season.

I'm excited to be starting my third season with Team in Training. With the help of TNT, I completed 2 triathlons last year, one in Honolulu, HI in May and another in Pacific Grove, CA in September. More importantly, I helped raise over $16,000 towards finding a cure for Leukemia, Lymphoma and all forms of blood cancer and providing support for those currently fighting these diseases.

Now I'm back for more -- this time training for the Wildflower Triathlon on May 6th. I'll be competing in the olympic distance race again. That's about a 1 mile swim, 25 mile bike ride, and a 6 mile run. I'm hoping to beat my Honolulu time of 3 hours and 52 minutes.

Once again, I am motivated to train (and raise money) by our team honorees, all of whom currently have or have had some form of blood cancer.
