Team Waller - Racing for a Cure
We are training to participate in the Wildflower Triathlon and the Rock n' Roll Marathon as members of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. All of us in Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. We're completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
Please make a donation to support our participation in Team In Training and help advance the Society's mission.

An estimated 712,145 Americans are currently living with leukemia, Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma.
Every ten minutes, another child or adult is expected to die from leukemia, lymphoma or myeloma. Leukemias are the leading fatal cancers in young men and women under age 20.

Brenda Donato
After receiving her new bone marrow in September, Brenda passed through the very critical 100 days with what seemed to be ease. About 7 weeks ago, Brenda was experiencing some shortness of breath and to make a long story, short, her lung capacity began to decline rapidly. She is currently in stable, yet critical condition at UCSF. Her sister-in-law, Aimee-Lynn, has updated Brenda's blog with the details of her current condition.
