Riding to Save Lives...
Solvang Century 2006
Training to participate in the Solvang Century Ride on March 11, 2006 as a member of Team In Training has been a fantastic experience thus far. Despite waking up before dawn on Saturday mornings and training during the week before work, my enthusiasm for my team and for our cause is only growing stronger. I'm completing the 100 mile event in honor of all individuals, including my grandmother, Rita Brown, Whitman College professor and mentor Debby Holmes and nine year old Alex Schwab, who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help raise funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.
I hope you'll visit my web site often. I'll be posting new photos and recaps of my training rides, so be sure to check back and track my progress. Thanks for your support!
