Andrea & Joe Peacock's Team In Training Page
Riding to Save Lives
(Greg Robinson, our Honored Hero)
Welcome to our Team In Training fundraising page!
Joe and I (Andrea) have a special request! We are currently training for a Century race (100 mile bicycle ride!) in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. We are doing this as part of Team In Training, in an effort to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Together, we must raise $10,000!!!
Our honored hero is a wonderful man named Greg Robinson. He is 56 years old, and was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2000. Multiple Myeloma is the second leading type of blood cancer, but is the deadliest and hardest to treat. He has been fighting for his life for almost 6 years, and so we have decided to help him fight by raising money to support finding a cure.
All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. Our grueling and constant training is nothing compared to what cancer patients have to face everyday.
Please make a donation to support our fight with Team In Training and help advance the Society's mission.
Additionally, we are wearing Hero Ribbions to honor any and all cancer patients and survivors for all of our donators and friends. Simply Fill out our Ribbon form with the name of your hero, and we will make a ribbon with their name and sew it to our bike jerseys the day of the race! You do NOT have to donate for this, we want to do it for everyone who wants one.
I hope you'll visit our web site often. We can definitely use both your moral and financial support, along with anyone else's, so if you know someone else who can help, please send them our website address. Thank you so much!
Your friends,
Andrea & Joe Peacock
