Tim and Kate's Fight To The Finish

Our Journey Begins Here

Welcome all to the one and only website brought to you by yours truly, Tim Muldoon.

Kate and I have taken on the challenge of competing in an olympic qualifying triathlon (and yes I use the word compete rather than participate because we strive to challenge those who call themselves professional triathletes) as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. Although I'm sure most of you are viewing this website hoping to see pictures of me passed out along the schuykill river from utter exhaustion while in the background Kate dodges rush hour traffic on Kelly Drive, I do hope you consider the true reason behind our efforts. Kate and I have decided to dedicate the next five months to help those true heroes who have no choice in life but to fight day in and day out. All contributions will directly help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. We're completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood/all types of cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!

Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help the progression of the Society's mission.

Thank you to everyone in advance for your support, and please follow our progress over the next five months. I will be providing a blog titled "The Chronicles of Crossing The Line" on a weekly basis. Kate and I are extremely pysched but we can't do this without all of you. Stay tuned because I promise you're not going to want to miss a beat.

I'll leave you all with this.... A true inspiration once said...

"I urge all of you, all of you, to enjoy your life, the precious moments you have. To spend each day with some laughter and some thought, to get you're emotions going. To be enthusiastic every day and [as] Ralph Waldo Emerson said, "Nothing great could be accomplished without enthusiasm" -- to keep your dreams alive in spite of problems whatever you have. The ability to be able to work hard for your dreams to come true, to become a reality........I know, I gotta go, I gotta go, and I got one last thing and I said it before, and I'm gonna say it again: Cancer can take away all my physical ability. It cannot touch my mind; it cannot touch my heart; and it cannot touch my soul. And those three things are going to carry on forever." - Jimmy V
