Adam Goyette's Race for a Cause

"This sport would be fun if it wasn't for all the running"

I will be training to participate in the 32nd anniversary Marine Corps Marathon on October 28, 2007. I will be running in honor of my cousin Ryan Goyette.

Any donations you make will benefit a great cause and I am proud to be a part of it.

ABOUT THE LEUKEMIA & LYMPHOMA SOCIETY’S TEAM IN TRAINING

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training® is the world's largest endurance sports training program. The program provides training to run or walk marathons and half marathons or participate in triathlons and century (100-mile) bike rides. Since 1988, more than 320,000 volunteer participants have helped raise more than $750 million. In 2006 alone TNT was able to raise $114 Million to fund research and patient services.

All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance the Society's mission and give hope to those fighting the battle against blood cancer. The funds you donate go directly to the cause and are fully tax deductible.

My personal goal is to raise over $2,800. Every little bit helps and your donations are greatly appreciated.

ABOUT THE MARINE CORPS MARATHON:

In its long history, the MCM has not only made a name for itself in sheer size as the 4th largest US Marathon and 7th in the world, but stands as the largest marathon in the world that doesn’t offer prize money, earning its nickname, "The People's Marathon." The course starts in Arlington, VA, and will go by many of the historic sites of Washington DC before returning past the Pentagon and finishing at the Marine Corps War Memorial.
