Racing to Save Lives
Welcome to my Team In Training home page!
I am training to participate in the Latta Plantation Triathlon in Charlotte being held on June 15th as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I'm completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. The race will be a tiresome 1/2 mile lake swim, followed by a 17 mile bike ride, and finished up with a 5k trail run. This may sound grueling, but it pales in comparison to the strife that many people contest with in their daily lives while battling these blood cancers.
So now I am personally asking you, my friends and family, to please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance the Society's mission.
