I can't believe it's over!
Welcome to my fundraising page! I'm 76% to my fundraising goal. Can you help me get closer?

I DID IT!!!!
On Saturday May 31, 2008 I completed my first Olympic Distance Traithlon. The event distances were: 0.9mile swim, 25mile bike ride, and 6.2 mile run. And, while it certainly wasn't easy, it sure was FUN.
But, the race isn't over yet. I still need to raise $750 to get to my fund raising goal. Your donation will help me cross this finish line.
If this page is new to you then let me tell you what it's all about. In February I began training for the Deuces Wild Triathlon as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training program. Why did I do this? I wanted to do this for many reasons, but above all to raise funds needed to stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. Specifically, I did this event in honor of my brother-in-law Arthur Miscione, who died of cancer in April 2006, and all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
I was also honored to compete in the names of our Honored Team Mates Alex Stuetze, Dawn Kulesa and Gabbi Martin, as well as one of my donor's aunts, Lois Mandel.
This has been such an amazing experience for me and I couldn't have done it without my Coaches, Kari and Ericka and my Mentors, Josh and Adam.
If you haven't already, please consider making a donation to support my participation and help advance the Society's mission. You can donate from this page quickly and safely. You'll recieve an email reciept (which is 100% tax deductible) and help further the societies mission. It's not about me, it's about helping end several diseases taking people's lives on a daily basis.
Thanks for your support! Without your donation it could not happen!
