Arthur Flatau's Team In Training Page
Racing to Save Lives
Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
My son Matt and I are training to participate in America's Most Beautiful Bike Ride, around Lake Takoe a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. As you probably know I have a personal interest in leukemia since my own diagnosis with Acute Myeloid Leukemia or AML in March, 1992. In February, 1993 I had a Bone Marrow Transplant. You can read more about my leukemia experience on my web page. When I was diagnosed, Matt was 4 years old and I wondered if I would live to see him enter kindergarten. In May, he will graduate from high school. This is possible because of medical research into leukemia and bone marrow transplants funded in part by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Matt has his own web page for team in training, click here.
Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance the Society's mission.
I hope you'll visit my web site often. Be sure to check back frequently to see my progress. Thanks for your support!
