Scot Larrabee's Team In Training Page
Racing to Save Lives
Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
On behalf of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, my wife, Laurie Halse Anderson, and I would like to ask for your help in fighting cancer.
On June 15, 2008, we will be running in a Half Marathon at Lake Placid, NY in honor of Darcy Skinner, Laurie's cousin, who is battling Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
Leukemia is one of the leading causes of death in children between the ages of 1-15. Currently there are more than 747,000 Americans living with a blood cancer and every ten minutes a life is lost.
Team in Training is the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's largest fund-raising program. Seventy-five percent of every dollar donated goes to research, patient services and education.
Our goal is to raise $5,000.00 by May 31, 2008 and we need all the help we can get. After you donate, please take a moment to pass this information along to everyone you know. Nearly three quarters of a million people need our support.
Thank you so much for helping us reach the finish line and cure this disease!
