Racing to Save Lives & Find a Cure
I am training to run in the Walt Disney Marathon on January 7, 2007 as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I'm completing this marathon in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. I'm also competing in memory of Charity Williams & Marian Schorr, precious family members that fought and lost the battle against leukemia. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!

This will help me to keep my eye on the ball as I work towards my fundraising goal. It will also keep me motivated during the long training runs I will need to successfully complete the 26.2 miles.
