You can contribute by donating to one of our 5K participant or by becoming a 5K participant and raising funds for a single parent household.
Titus Single Parent Mentoring provides free mentoring workshops to single parents and their children to help them prepare for life's issues, including parenting classes, academic preparedness, financial planning, employment readiness, etiquette, etc. Students attending the workshops are given the opportunity to attend Titus sponsored summer camps, e.g. YMCA, Girl Scouts, Camp Fire, Lakers camp, AC Green Leadership/Basketball Camp, UCLA football camp, aeronautical flight camp, engineering academy, and so many other wonderful camps and programs at little or no cost to their single parent.
It is our goal to encourage single parents and let them know that they are not alone as they rear their children. 99% of single parent households are run by moms struggling to make ends meet, summer camp or a special academic academy for their children is usually a dream and never a reality.
