| In an effort to continue raising funds for construction of the nuns's housing and monastery, we have created a team, "NUN RUNNERS" for their 1st Annual “Nun Run”.
Three options to participate:
1. You can register for the event yourself, and join us on March 20th. (www.desertnuns.com)
2. You can register as a “Shadow participant” and run/walk where you live. You will still get a t-shirt. (www.desertnuns.com)
3. You can sponsor the Nun Runners ( through this page).
In October 2009 the nuns began construction on the most beautiful Chapel in Tonopah, AZ. "Our Lady of Solitude Chapel" will welcome the faithful for adoration, daily Mass, confessions and retreats.
