We will produce a series of short video documentaries of people with diverse bodies and life experiences expressing resistance to body hatred and eating disorders, and declaring their authentic beauty. The video stories included in This is Beauty™ will introduce the radical idea that it is possible to fully inhabit one’s body, trust one’s hungers and desires, and experience beauty as the authentic, open-hearted, and vulnerable expression of oneself. The videos will be a vision of what we know is possible—to inhabit and declare one’s own beauty.
