Lazarex Cancer Foundation builds a bridge to hope, life and dignity for cancer patients by providing financial assistance to defray the cost associated with patient participation in FDA clinical trials. Additionally, we help patients navigate their clinical trial options and provide community education and outreach services. The money you raise will help us achieve our mission of providing resources for cancer patients who have been told they have no other options, but who are not yet done with their journey in life and refuse to give up. We believe that together we can change the face of cancer.

She was diagnosed just 1.5 years earlier, and heard the bad news on the same day that the first trial of Naveed Haq, the guy who shot me and others at the Jewish Federation, was declared a mistrial due to a hung jury. She died less than a month after the second trial ended with a conviction, but before Haq was sentenced to life+80 years. She was my hero, my strongest advocate for my recovery, one of my best friends. Love, Cheryl"
