| Terri Schneider is an endurance athlete, motivational speaker, author and coach.
She is one of 30 invited athletes who will participate in Racing the Planet : The Last Desert event, November 24-December 4, 2008. She will be running 155 miles in Antarctica to raise money for Conservation Alliance.
Conservation Alliance is protecting North Americas last wild places by supporting grassroots conservation organizations. Since 1989 they have helped protect more than 35 million acres of land, stop or remove 26 dams, and preserve access to thousands of miles of rivers and several climbing areas.
