We believe that when teens are awakened to the dreams in their hearts, and receive the guidance and support of loving, affirming, responsible adult mentor-coaches, they will pursue positive, productive, paths to lead their lives.
The research shows that when teens don't have a dream and the appropriate affirming adult guidance in their lives, they are more likely to drop out of school, commit crime, use alcohol and illegal substances, become pregnant too early and some even commit suicide.
Your support of Teen Dream Camp ensures that our next generation of leaders are being identified, nurtured, coached, and commissioned to live the lives of their dreams.
Every dollar you give to Teen Dream Camp gives permission for a teen to pursue his or her dream without the financial limitation of their parents or guardians.
You see, many of the teens who come to our camps have enormous potential and big dreams in their hearts. However, many times their parents or foster care agencies don't have the financial means to send them to programs like ours.
