| The Wellness Community is a non-profit organization that provides FREE programs and services to people with cancer and their loved ones. People who receive a cancer diagnosis feel alone, isolated, and scared. The Wellness Community offers them the opportunity to attend support groups, nutrition classes, exercise and movement classes, educational programs, stress management sessions, and social activities – all as part of a community. The isolation and fear dissipates, and it is replaced with hope. We are told over and over again that The Wellness Community is a lifeline for people who have heard the devastating words “You have cancer”. By riding in the Twin Lights ride for The Wellness Community, you will help support the free programs we provide every day for people with cancer and their loved ones. www.thewellnesscommunity.org |
