| On Monday, May 25, 2009 team Veterans for Sarcoma will participate in the Capital of Texas Triathlon in Austin, Texas in an effort to raise MONEY and AWARENESS for Sarcoma. We understand that in these stressful and challenging economic times it is difficult to ask others to again open their wallets for our cause. However, for the sake of all patients that struggle and fight through this deadly disease we must.
I challenge everyone that reads this to use this time as an opportunity to find how creative you can be to raise as much attention and money for this disease as you can. Take advantage of your corporate matching donations. If you donated money to this team (501c3 Non-Profit) to support us with your participation in the CapTexTri (or any event this year) then make sure you check and see if your company will match your donation.
Challenge someone to donate $1 for every mile that you do in your triathlon. Find 10 people to each donate $2. Bowling for Triathlon???
You don’t need to raise a million dollars… You just have to “Tri”
