| Running the Disney ½ Marathon is a rewarding experience in helping directly to create an awareness of athletes, volunteers, and staff of Special Olympics of Southern California. These individuals work all year to ensure a pathway for growth for others who would otherwise be left out.
Having run with and met these athletes last year, I continue to be excited about helping myself and others develop into more self-assured and confident individuals. Running competitively (against my number one contestant – Joshua) has done more to develop me as an individual than any other exterior experience (outside my family).
I am really grateful for whatever you can give to help others experience benefits beyond our wildest imagination. Last year together we were able to raise over $1,000.00. This year is harder still and I have raised my goal to $1,250.00. We can never do our best, but we can always do better. My Great Grandfather used to say that “if you are talking about it, you are not doing it.” Together we can just do it.
Thank you in advance for your support and your hard earned dollars. |

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I will be participating in the Disneyland 1/2 Marathon on TEAM SOSC to benefit Special Olympics athletes on September 6, 2009. By donating through this site, you will be helping to raise funds for nearly 13,000 Special Olympics Southern California athletes.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
