| Again this year, I am lucky and blessed to be participating in this worthy cause to help raise funds for some very special people. Happiness and magical dreams is what Disneyland is all about, especially in the eyes of my young daughters. The Special Olympics provides the same kind of happiness and magical dreams to thousands of people, both young and old, who either participate, watch, or support these special athletes. Today's life is particularly difficult for many. In these trying times, any donation, in any amount, is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and consideration. The mission of Special Olympics Southern California is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
